Job Description
About the position
We see an opportunity for a new emerging business, centred around supply of fossil-free hydrogen and industry electrification. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Business Developer with strong passion to develop winning partnerships with industrial customers to capture this opportunity.
As a member of our Corporate Business Development team, you thrive in a diverse and inclusive workplace based on collaboration and empowerment. You will be part of a highly engaged team with the mission to develop new business opportunities for Vattenfall and close partnership deals to decarbonize entire industries.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Drive commercial activities in our industry decarbonization partnerships
Coordinate Vattenfall's relationships and negotiations towards partners
Collaborate with project stakeholders from different Business Units
Create decision material for steering committees and executives
Support the growth of colleagues
Qualifications
We believe that you have a strategic mindset to grasp the big picture as well as commercial skills with ability to turn ideas into commercial business. You are good at influencing stakeholders and reaching win-win solutions with customers and partners.
As a Senior Business Developer we would like you to bring:
8-10 years' work experience in a commercial role such as building complex business partnerships, negotiations or sales
Interest and some experience from the energy sector (electricity, hydrogen or oil and gas)
Strong academic record in business, law and/or engineering, Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred
Good skills in communication and fluent in Swedish and English
Strong social skills, potential and ambition
Additional competences that are highly valued include: corporate finance and risk, business case modelling, project management, contracts and offerings and legal skills
