Who we are

With the newly established function Business Development & Support we aim to create a structured, professional, and forward-leaning organization based on the Scania Way of working. The team is managing a wide scope of areas, supporting and developing our insights on the trucks business as well as creating good platforms for designing strategies for success. We are a team of Business Support Managers and Business Developers that work closely together and support each other to achieve our common goals.

What you will do

The main responsibility of the Strategic Business Developer is to create lasting improvements in strategic areas for the Parts & Services Sales team as well as Area Management for Sales & Marketing in general, and to create the structures and prerequisites to reach the strategic goals. This entails having an good understanding of Scania's strategy and strategy processes and applying them within S&M.

As a Strategic Business Developer you will also be responsible for driving relevant changes in strategic business processes by identifying and implementing long lasting improvements in order to ensure that the Parts & Services Sales team has the pre-requisites to understand and contribute to Scania's strategy. In addition to having the ownership of important core processes, you will also have the duty to balance a variety of projects ranging from smaller to bigger topics, all important for our success and development as an organisation.

Your Profile

We believe that you have a technical or commercial university degree and have a long experience within strategic business development or are very motivated to lead change and work with continuous improvements. You are structured, and a problem-solving team player thriving in a high pace environment. You are self-driven, take own initiative, have a dare-to-try approach and eager to find new ways to solve problems. You actively contribute building team spirit and enjoy working in a diverse and inclusive way. An open mind with a can do attitude and the ability to build networks are important traits. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in combination with a high English proficiency are requirements.
