Tasks and responsibilities
Working closely with product managers, developers, designers and QA engineers
Designing and implementing systems and features with a high level of quality and maintainability.
Take end-to-end responsibility for implementation, from any lower-level, up to any included user-level experience.
Performance improvements to keep our apps best-in-class in terms of performance, data consumption, and device resource usage
Required Skill-set
You have outstanding Android development skills and experience (Minimum 5-6+ y) with a solid knowledge of Kotlin and Java and app development technologies such as RXJava, Firebase, Gradle / Bazel, Grafana.
You have experience working with asynchronous and multithreaded applications (using handlers & threads, Rx or coroutines). Or experience working within complex environments and with an application that is used by millions of end-users.
Experience with system design, and making appropriate tradeoffs in a technically complex environment
You have experience in CI/CD in the mobile space (e.g. GitHub Actions, Gradle, automated tests).
You have experience in building reusable software components.
You have a quality first mindset and are eager to write testable and maintainable code, always considering the overall performance of the product.
You have experience from working with events / streams.
You can easily grasp and evolve the big picture.
You have architectural passion and knowledge.
Have experience with agile software development practices and is comfortable facilitating continuous improvement work in the team
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Soft skills:
Sharing knowledge and best practices within the team and organization
Very strong in commutation
Acting independently coupled with strong collaboration and coordination skills
Strong track record of delivery of influential software, preferably in complex business models and high transaction environment / many end users / many services and systems integrated that speaking with each other
Self-driven and curiosity in mindset
Contribute to software design discussions
Learn quickly and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Ability and eagerness to learn and explore new topics independently
