Saab Aeronautics Security department contributes to the creation of business value, to protect our people, assets and reputation, as well as enable and support profitable business in the global marketplace.
You will join a highly professional security function with coworkers of different backgrounds and competences. We work within all areas of security, security risk and incident management in an international environment. You will also work closely with the Security teams all over Saab as well as many other functions.
Your role
This Security specialist 's primary responsibility is security related analyses and investigations at Saab Aeronautics. This includes providing actionable threat intelligence, analyses and assessments on strategic and operational level for Saab Aeronautics national- and global operations.
In addition to working with analyses and investigations, the security specialist supports the security departments other functions with relevant tasks.
This responsibility is executed in close cooperation with your colleagues at Saab Aeronautics security department and other relevant functions at Saab, such as Business units, IT, Legal, Export Control, Ethics and Compliance, Property and other security functions within Saab.
Your main responsibility includes:
* to provide strategic, tactical and operational security analyses, risk assessments and risk-mitigation recommendations
* conduct and coordinate security investigations
* manage and continuously develop processes for security related analyses and investigations
* to provide colleagues with training and support regarding security analyses and investigations
* supporting Head of Security, Site Security Managers, Business Unit Security Managers and Country Security Managers in tasks related to analyses, investigations and planning
Examples of supporting security related activities cover:
* security awareness-activities and training for employees at Saab, business partners and customers
* supporting event-security activities
* plan and manage travel security arrangements
* provide security briefings and workshops
* assist and support international security vetting and interviews
* assist and support in site security activities
* support and participate in crisis management activities
You will report to Head of Security, BA Aeronautics.
Your profile
To take on this challenge you need to be a socially skilled person who has an easy way of making contacts and to cooperate. You must be comfortable to work both independently and in cooperation with others. You need to be structured, service minded, brave and curious as a person. Saab Aeronautics operate in complex national and international environments, and you must be comfortable participating in and supporting those operations.
Required skills:
* Relevant training and background, for example from police, military, public or private security context
* Minimum five years of relevant work experience
* Documented analytical skills, preferably within the defence or civilian security sector
* Experience in working with threat analyses and performing investigations
* Experience in handling classified information
* Experience in writing reports or other formal documentation
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
* Knowledge of the current threats and ability to foresee how they could affect a company like Saab
* Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal aspects, laws, regulations, standards and best practices relating to security (including Swedish protective security requirements)
* You need to have a Swedish driving licence (B)
Desired skills:
* Training and/or experience of working in the fields of personnel-, physical-, information-, travel- and event security
* Training and/or experience of working in the role of project leader
* Training and/or experience of incident- and crisis management
* Experience in performing training of others
* Experience of working in an international environment
Personal qualities will be of great importance. It is paramount that you are trustworthy, with strong ethics and personal integrity. You understand the need for balanced security in a business-driven environment.
This Security specialist is preferably stationed in Linköping or Arboga and the position requires frequent national travel and some international travel.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply. We aim for a start date for the position as soon as possible.
