Job Position: L2 Support Engineer
Sweden - Full time - Stockholm

Job Purpose:

The primary objectives of the L2 EMEA Support are to prevent problems and resulting incidents from happening, to eliminate recurring incidents and to minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented. L2 EMEA Support should take ownership of Incidents where L1 EMEA Support is not able to work out any temporary workaround due to the lack of knowledge.

L2 EMEA Support will also maintain information about problems and the
appropriate workarounds (found on L2) and resolutions, so that the organization is able to reduce the number and impact of incidents over time.

L2 EMEA Support is also dealing with executing standard changes in a
professional manner. Does this sound like you?

Key Responsibilities:

• Second-level Incident support, including diagnosis and restoration activities, including liaison with third-party support contractors and/or manufacturers as needed to escalate these incidents;
• Perform standard routines, queries or reports, setting up scheduled jobs;
• Perform backup and restore activities;
• Contribute to the documentation of IT services;
• Support and maintenance of the operating systems* and related utility software including patch management;
• License management, especially operating systems, utilities and any application software not managed by the Application Management teams;
• Security control and maintenance of the access controls;
• Basic Performance and Capacity management of IT Systems;
• Configuration and fine-tuning of IT Systems;
• Performing basic ongoing maintenance for IT Systems within the IT Infrastructure;
• Monitoring of IT Systems within the IT Infrastructure;
• Keeping up to date with relevant technologies;
• Ensuring that management is made aware of all known and identified risks to system availability, performance, reliability and security.

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years of working experience in IT;
• Working knowledge of IT optimization techniques based on ITSM, ITIL.
• Strong technical background (MCSA, MCITP:SA, HP AIS, CCNA, CCA, CAN, VCP or similar);
• Good cross-organization communications skills; Accept challenges and manage risk effectively and innovatively;
• L2 EMEA Support Engineer is able to communicate effectively and develop partnerships with other departments within TMF-Group with both similar and dissimilar objectives and also with suppliers;
• High attention to details;
• Fluency in Swedish and English language.
• Able to work with minimal supervision;
