Poolia is now looking to fill a Scientific Support role at a well-known medtech company in Uppsala. In this role you will deliver excellent scientific support for our customers ÄKTATM products to key customers and drive an increase in customer satisfaction.
The assignment is planned to start in the in April with the duration of 5 month with possible extension. Please send in your application today. Applications will be reviewed continuously.
The role
In this role you will deliver excellent scientific support for our ÄKTATM products key and drive an increase in customer satisfaction. The role will support the achievement of the regional and local annual sales and profit plans by giving advice, guidance and scientific support on all aspects of the company's products to both customers and colleagues.
Essential Responsibilities
• Respond to application related local and regional customer inquiries and feedback through the appropriate questioning techniques to identify the nature of the request/complaint.
• Advise the appropriate sales staff of the content of application related customer inquiries and feedback, and their outcome.
• Meet with agreed service levels, time scales and standard operating procedures.
• Seek opportunities to convert application related inquiries into new or developed sales possibilities (e.g. lead generation, up-and cross-selling and initiating quotations).
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and competence on specialist subjects, products and their applications.

The right candidate has a Life Sciences degree, preferably PhD or equivalent experience We think that you have experience working in a support role and have experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
Further we see that fulfill following requirements:
• Prior scientific and laboratory experience with solid demonstrable expertise in chromatography, columns, media.
• Excellent communication and team-work skills.
• Fluent in English, additional European language is beneficial.
• Proficiency in PC computer skills and in Microsoft Office Suite products.
• EU work permit.
