School Economist to Internationella Engelska Skolan in Sundbyberg

Internationella Engelska Skolan is seeking a driven and passionate School Economist to our school in Sundbyberg. As a School Economist you will work with the school economy and you are part of the Administration Team. You believe in IES values and ethos and think that a safe and orderly environment is the key for learning.

We opened our school 2018 and are developing the organization by recruiting an new School Economist. You will be responsible for the School economy, and set up structure and routines together with the Administration team. If you are interested in joining our team in August 2019 this presents an excellent opportunity for you, where your abilities will be given space to grow and develop. The right attitude is important, which is why we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, focused and resilient to the day-to-day pressures that working in education can bring.

Reports to the Principal

Part time 50-75%. The position can be combined with other duties such as reception, special education, facility manager and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Accounting
• Monthly reports to the Head office
• Monthly control of costs and account balance
• Assist the Principal with budget and reports
• Code and control the supplier invoice in Palette
• Billing in Hogia
• Monthly control of school fee
• Payroll - verification and administration of Hogia
• Mother tongue and Junior Club administration
• Contact with municipality
• Control of decisions made in the municipality of school fee and other regulations that affect the school finance
• Responsible for electronic petty cash
• Human resource - contracts, VISA applications, salary report and control
• Student administration in schoolsoft
• Report of statistics to SCAB

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of the IES vision, ethos and values

Skills

• Experience of working well with others and as part of a team
• Bilingual with English and Swedish
• Excellent knowledge of accounting
