Main Activities and responsibilities
The position as Sales & Application Engineer Customized Products is the perfect fit for you who want to work with technical sales support for marine products.
The role includes exciting work in collecting customer data and understand the customers operation and the need of suitable solutions.
You will provide our customers with support and advices regarding the Volvo Penta Marine product range.
Who are you?
As you will be the department representative in product development projects and take lead in transferring competence to the market units a communicative ability is crucial. We see that you are a person with an open and positive attitude and with a strong focus on providing sales support and technical advice. Because just like us, your future colleagues at Volvo Penta, you are always having the customer in mind. We want you to bring a goal-oriented approach by being able to take your own initiative.
Qualifications:
Master in mechanics or electronics
Good skills in both spoken and written English and Swedish is required
Experience from the marine industry is preferred
Knowledge in Volvo Penta Marine Product range and understanding of suitable applications is preferred
Experience in the value chain from purchasing, product development, manufacturing, and logistics.
Experience from international contacts (and travel) is preferred.
