Safmarine Container Lines is one of the brands within the Maersk Liner business, and has been so since the acquisition in 1999. We offer
The sales executive contributes to the development and execution of the Safmarine commercial business plan within Sweden. You will be developing and maintaining existing accounts as well as creating commercially interesting relationships with new customers. You will have to have a strong business and customer understanding. In Safmarine you will be part of a dedicated commercially focused team, who puts the customers first and strives for a high level of service.
As one of two sales executives covering the Swedish market you will be a vital part of the success of Safmarine, and reporting directly to the Safmarine Scandinavia Manager.

Key responsibilities
Safmarine expects you to embrace responsibility and ownership, feeling comfortable with taking decisions and being able to back them up.
Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Providing our customers with the best possible service
• Identifying and materializing commercial opportunities
• Customer relationship management on all levels in the organization
• Growing the customer base
• Delivering the agreed target numbers
• Striving to be a role model when it comes to living the APMM values the Safmarine Way
• Contributing to a good team spirit

We are looking for
You should have a positive attitude and an ability to act and speak in an open, straightforward and constructive manner. We expect you to have a sense of urgency, being able to work independently but still put "we before I".

Our preferred candidate has a very high competitive drive. The candidate must develop and engage in new customers, manage the selling process to mainly external customers and be an integral part of the sales team managing client related initiatives. The candidate has to ensure cross department communication and understanding. The ideal candidate will be a person who has good business, market and customer understanding with excellent commercial and negotiating skills. The candidate should have the experience to build long term relationships and be capable of maximizing the value of your customer portfolio. A person who can inspire, motivate, communicate & collaborate and feels very comfortable with engaging with customers face-to-face.

Skills required:
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Documented sales experience within the shipping industry
• Excellent time management skills
• The ability to quickly adapt to changes
• B driving licence
