WHAT IS AXIS?

We are now looking for the right person to fill the opening as Sales Engineer within the Northern Europe sales region. This position will be based in Sweden.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Sales Engineer your role contributes to the business by being responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle, transmitting knowledge and information about Axis network video portfolio to our partners. As holder of the position you are also responsible for educating large and selected end-customers about Axis products, presenting the benefits of network video to important decision makers in order to develop a relationship as trusted advisor for these selected accounts.

The role is responsible for researching, preparing and presenting technical product presentations designed to provide the essential skills for our clients to successfully implement network video surveillance systems.

Apart from above mentioned tasks it will be your job to:

• Support our Key Customers with technical advice and support in new projects. Working in close conjunction with our Key Account Managers and Business Development Managers.
• Making customers visits, conducting product demonstrations and pilot installations as well as hands on trials with customers and Partners.
• Supporting the sales organization in tender and RFP/RFQ process and answering project related questions.
• Helping the sales organization to qualify tenders in order to select projects.
• Set up Axis demo area at events/trade shows and demonstrate Axis products to Customers.
• Continuously keep the technical knowledge up to date on the latest products.
• Provide selected trainings from Axis Academy portfolio.
• Work with the central/global pre-sales organization and develop written pre-sales material of technical nature, both in the form of articles and PowerPoint presentations.
• Follow-up on set KPI's related to the function and offer a contribution to reach the target set for the region.

You will be part of an international team covering the region Northern Europe (UK, Ireland, and Nordics) and report to the Regional Manager for the Engineering and Training function. Your focus will be the Nordic market.

It is a home based or Lund office based role but with a strong customer focus where travelling within the Nordics is expected; approx. 2-3 days per week, this will include site visits and customer meetings. Some international travel across the region will also be expected. Travel will also include visits/meetings to the UK sales office in Watford.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a focused and self-motivated team player with a technical background within Networking & IP. You will have the ability to hold inspiring presentations and demonstrations.

You have experience in pre-sales, project based work within the CCTV market, alternatively within the IT channel and have knowledge in networking, IP-based technologies and applications. You have sound knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP) and if you have knowledge within VMS software this is considered an advantage.

Apart from this we believe you have the following qualifications:

• Attained industrial certification from CISCO, Nortel Networks, Microsoft with technical experience from CCTV business preferred
• Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
• Excellent communication skills in order to develop internal and external relationships
