To support our sales organization in the Nordics, we're now looking for a business minded Sales Channel Developer who wants to join us in the expansion phase of our sales channels. Location
You'll be based in either Kista or Sandviken in Sweden, with the possibility to work from your home office.
Briefly about the job
In this key position, you act in close collaboration with our Channel Manager as you contribute to our sales transformation and actively engage to accelerate growth and improve profitability. You develop and manage sales of Sandvik Coromant products to customers through channels, primary via distributors and e-commerce in the sales cluster Nordics, and you support distributors and drive channel sales and marketing activities. In addition, you plan and secure e-commerce activities to drive online sales, develop e-commerce business and data driven commerce. Tasks regarding channel and distributor management:
Providing support in designing and conducting programs and processes to improve the sales and service capabilities of Sandvik Coromant distributor network
Working with sales management to devise and execute channel sales strategy
Supporting administration of the company's distributor practices and implementation of functional discount requirements
Building and managing relationships with distributors
Listening to their needs and create efficiencies in our way of working
Executing on activities in the channel sales strategy to achieve the goals and objectives in line with financial targets
Coordinating communication and training of our complete offer towards channel partners
Collaborating with Marketing Department to drive channel marketing activities
Tasks regarding online e-commerce business:
Giving guidance to the e-commerce strategy and supporting the business to develop a portfolio of existing and potential new e-commerce customers
Planning and securing profitable online sales growth through e-commerce
Executing on activities in the e-commerce strategy to achieve the goals and objectives in line with financial targets
Collaborating with Marketing and Operations and other internal teams to ensure the ultimate customer experience and operations of our website
Implementing data driven commerce
Working closely with the Marketing department for execution of an e-commerce marketing strategy to promote the products and services using all available marketing channels
Taking the lead in defining e-commerce marketing campaigns, analyzing sales, content, and digital media performance, and adjusting plans accordingly
Developing business reporting for follow up
What you know and who you are
You have a university degree in a relevant field, or at least five years of equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. We expect you to have experience from working with e-commerce or understanding of the basics concerning online business, and you have revealed good project management skills. You also have solid IT knowledge and are familiar with Office 365, and as we're a global business, your verbal and written English skills must be advanced.
You show interest in new technologies and sales processes, and with commercial acumen, you utilize your strategic thinking. Result-focus and creativity are strong characteristics in you, and you can communicate effectively with your stakeholders. Naturally, your strong interpersonal skills allow you to successfully network and collaborate with diverse partners, and you really enjoy acting in multicultural team environments.
