THE GLOBAL SALES ORGANIZATION
As Sales Analyst you will be part of Business Coordination Office (BCO), which is a part of the Global Sales organization and is responsible for sales processes, project pricing and sales administration. We support Axis nine sales regions in these areas but also work closely with other functions in Global Sales and central functions within Axis HQ in Lund. The team is now looking for a Sales Analyst, to support Axis sales organization in our growth. In this role your time will be split between supporting Bid office and Technical Services.

WHO ARE YOU?
We believe that you have at least 5 years' experience from an international business environment, probably working in relation to either bid or pricing management or in an area related to purchasing or sales.

You have a University degree in business administration and/or engineering. Most important is that you have an interest in sales activities from a strategic perspective. To be successful in this job you need to be able to combine excellent analytical skills with an ability to communicate and drive change in a global environment.

In order to thrive in the position we believe you are passionate about supporting sales, proactive and independent in thoughts and actions and able to influence people. Also have the interest in follow-up and analyses of sales. Fluency in written and spoken English is required as well as strong computer knowledge in word processing, spreadsheet and accounting management system software applications.

Some travelling is required and can vary depending on specific initiatives, estimate 5-15 days/year.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In relation to Bid Office you will work closely with Bid Manager, Global Sales where you will evaluate project pricing requests from the Axis regional sales organization. Most business decisions related to project pricing are managed within the regional sales organizations. However, for opportunities that goes beyond their local approval, they escalate such to Bid Office, Global Sales. It will then be your task to evaluate such requests and decide whether to support or reject the request or suggest counteroffer. You are also expected to coach and educate the sales representatives in areas around project pricing and business practices. If time allows you will also provide trend analysis in relation to this area and communicate such to relevant stakeholders.

In relation to Technical Services you will create material and reports to be used for strategic initiatives and projects and provide trend analysis related to services provided by this organization.

Your main tasks will include, but not be limited to:

Support Axis sales teams in reviewing, analyzing and approving project pricing requests
Coach, challenge and educate the regional sales teams regarding project pricing
Analyze sales data and communicate such on a regular basis to relevant stakeholders
Provide trend analysis related to services provided by Technical services
Create material and reports to be used for strategic initiatives
