What you will be part of
For more than a year, you will participate in an international programme that is uniquely designed to boost your career as well as to provide you with the right toolbox to develop as a leader. From day one, you will be appointed to a position with permanent employment at one of Saab's sites worldwide.
You will become part of an experienced Project Management Team at Saab in Järfälla. The project management team consists of around 25 people working in both internal and customer projects. The members of the team are experienced project managers committed to delivering results as well as managing customer relations. Our customers are mainly Naval, Air and Land Forces around the world. Our projects deliver both systems and hardware.
Your role
During the programme, you will get the opportunity to create an overall understanding of the company that will prepare you for an exciting future together with us. Your development will be aligned with Saab's business goals and the programme will enable you to contribute to our business and take part in actual projects.
You will have a steep learning curve that will prepare you for a position in our project management team. As a project manager, you will lead people, business and change. In this position you will be managing the project budget, technical scope, risks and both internal and external relations. Together with the project steering group, you will be responsible for decision-making, delivering on time, profitability and encouraging a cooperative and inclusive culture.
Your skills and experience
As we are looking for future leaders, you need to have a genuine interest in people. You understand that collaboration and curiosity are essential success factors for a business to grow and for people to thrive at their workplace. You are flexible, humble and spread positive energy. You have an overall business understanding, possess a strategic thinking and deliver excellent results. Your motivation and commitment help you, and people around you, to perform on a daily basis. To apply for this program you have a maximum of 2 years work experience.
To be a successful graduate, you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree within Engineering. We believe that you have a broad understanding of project management and system development rather than a deep technical knowledge.
Some positions have tasks including defense secrecy. In such circumstances you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by the authority.
