Vioni is a small consultancy firm working on small business and local community development. Vioni has a network of people who also run their own business with specific competences. As a small company we don't know everything, but we most possibly know who is good at what! Our previous customers range from local municipalities over county administrations, ministries and DG Agri.

Recently VIONI has been sub contracted to work in a project on agricultural innovation and need a researcher to provide services. The researcher will support VIONI work in the project on a part time basis and will support development of other project proposals targeting Sweden, Europe and Africa. The contract task will extend at least March 2018. The part-time researcher will work min 15 hours a week to provide research and project development support. The work will be commenced in English.

Requirements:
• MSc in Agricultural Economics or similar programs.
• Proven knowledge on statistical analysis. Working knowledge on SPSS is an asset.
• Working knowledge of content analysis with intermediate level of usage on QSR Nvivo or Atlas.ti
• Working knowledge on social network analysis. A good knowledge on Gephi or R required
• Proven knowledge on research reporting such as contributions to research papers, technical reports including research elements
• Min 3 years of professional experience in research excluding studies
• Min 1 year of professional experience in project management cycle
• Min 1 year of professional experience in Africa. Working in different parts of Africa is an asset
• Proven professional outputs in rural development and rural innovation

Varaktighet, arbetstid
40 %. The part-time researcher will work min 15 hours a week until March 2018
