Overview
As a Research Engineer Skin Health, you will be responsible for executing research activities to meet the consumer and business needs. You will further act as an expert and advisor in the skin health area in projects as well as to colleagues in our Global Hygiene Category team and business groups.
This position will be based in Mölndal.
Main Tasks
You drive or participate in Research, R&D enabling projects, Innovation projects and/or Business Unit projects. This can be as a consultant or as a project team member.
For the skin health area you will secure that the right expert input, methods and technology selection is available at the right stage of a project/activity.
It is your responsibility to actively provide the team and the organization with knowledge pertaining to the skin health area.
You build and maintain a broad and deep competence and knowledge.
Participate in assigned patent activities.
You build your external network/recognition (i.e. external exposure of SCA to build both the reputation of good research at SCA and a network for future collaborations).
Key Competencies
University degree (minimum BSc, MSc preferred) or equivalent within the skin health area (e.g. dermalogical, biological, medical, pharmaceutical or similar) and 2-5 years experience in the skin health area.
Profound knowledge in the skin health area, including relevant products and technologies.
Good understanding of the way of working from consumer insight to launch.
Understanding of claims and claims substantiation, from both a legal and regulatory affairs perspective.
International exposure.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build constructive and effective relationships and networks at relevant levels both internally and externally.
Fluent in English, both oral and written capabilities
