As the Release Train Engineer, RTE, you will lead, coach and support the Value Creating Team (VCT) with twelve different teams and approximately 100 people.
The Charging and Power Distribution VCT has just started up and you will have an important role in shaping the culture and the way of working. You will do this together with the VCT management which consists of the Product Manager and the system architects. You will also work together with all the line managers connected to the VCT and you will be a member of the UEC section management group.
The VCT will deliver charging & power distribution components, systems and services for electrified heavy vehicles. Charging and Power Distribution is one of the most important strategic areas in the shift toward a sustainable transport system.
Your role:
• to be a supportive leader and coach for the VCT
• secure that the deliveries and the flow in day-to-day day business are progressing as planned together with the other teams
• lead and facilitate VCT events
• coordination with other VCT teams
• manage risks and dependencies
• understand Lean, and Agile
• coaching the teams and improving the way of working
Who you are:
You are an experienced leader who is curious, dares to try, and appreciates having a lot of contacts and parallel questions in your everyday work. You probably have a background as an object/project manager, group or section manager.
We think you have higher education and at least five years of experience relevant to product development. Knowledge and background from working in a context that combines hardware and software development are considered a big advantage and merit.
