hela Sverige Nasdaq is now looking for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our System Management team, with a special focus on Regulatory Reporting Services.
This role supports the Regulatory Reporting Officer in management of the regulatory reporting services in accordance to EMIR, SFTR and Mifid II on behalf of the Nasdaq Nordic Exchanges and Nasdaq Clearing. As part of the System Management team you will contribute to achieve an efficient and compliant regulatory reporting function and ensure that the Market Operations department is compliant with internal and external requirements, agreements, rules and regulations.
Key responsibilities:
* Participate in projects relating to regulatory reporting changes.
* Monitoring of the regulatory reporting operations on daily basis and liaise with virtual team of staff responsible for the daily operations.
* Reviewing issues and operational incidents in the regulatory reporting area and driving the mitigation of the risks identified.
* Implementing new routines due to new legal requirements or procedures
* Performing and ensuring reporting for the function to external and internal parties when needed, including audit requests, Due diligence and requests from regulators
* Analysis and interpretation of dense legal prose in EU regulations and guidance on transaction reporting
Education and Professional accomplishments:
* Bachelor's degree in economy, law or science is preferred but not a mandatory requirement if the candidate has relevant experience in the Mifid II and/or EMIR regulatory reporting area
* 2 + years of relevant work experience in the financial sector is preferred
Skills and Requirements:
* Knowledge of the relevant regulatory frameworks, EMIR, Mifid II and SFTR.
* Knowledge of trading compliance rules and regulations in regards to exchanges and/or clearinghouses, including SRO rules and federal securities laws (e.g., Reg NMS and Reg SHO)
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong collaboration and communication skills
