Regulatory affairs is a part of our Quality & Environment department.
At the moment the focus is on Homologation activities and we are supporting our Chinese JV: s with certification material. We have a need to build a team and coordinate activities related to regulatory affairs within Trollhättan.
We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager!
Description:
Regulatory Affairs is a part of Quality department and is responsible for approving product compliance with relevant regulations and keeping the organization informed on the latest developments in international (technical) legislation. Regulatory Affairs carries out activities for product type approval certification as well, such as certification tests.
You will be exposed to requirements from different perspectives, internal needs, customers' requirements and authorities in a more or less global perspective. Initial work is related to China and Europe but can soon also include US.
The role also involves:
- Functional responsible for Managing Regulatory Activities
- Coordinate activities together with our Joint Ventures.
- Planning/forecasting activities and follow up the result but also actively support and participate in all types activities relating to regulatory compliance.
- Coordination of internal projects and overall framework of regulations.
- Type approval, Conformity of Product, CCC and Complete Vehicle, General Safety with Product Liability
We are looking for someone who has:
- MSc or Higher University Level education
- 10 years of work experience and minimum 3 years as a manager
- Regulatory experience as a specialist within the Automotive Industry
- Experience working with agencies and test centers
- Experience with Asian cultures
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Have functional and technical skills
- Be flexible to a changing work environment
- Experience of managing with different cultures
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
