For an international manufacturer and supplier of Thermoplastic Elastomers conveyor belting products and services we are looking for a 'Regional Sales Manager m/f'.

Skill Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal and written and spoken communication skills. Must have no objections to travel overnight away from home. You live in, or are willing to move to, Sweden. Prior field sales or management work in belting industry is a pro (but not required). Need to be perfect in verbal and in writing of Swedish, Dutch, English, German.

Education Requirements:
BSc in Mechanical Engineering and/or gained technical knowledge by trade.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Application Engineering: The Sales Manager must have technical knowledge of our products. This involves three categories:
a: Product Performance and specifications
b: Application of products to specific industries and processes
c: Product Troubleshooting.

"a" is easily learned, as the bulk of the knowledge is contained in our catalogues. "b" And "c" are more difficult and are gained by experience and by study of our library of technical literature.

• Motivation and education of our Reps. Our Reps handle other lines, and your objective will be to get them to spend a maximum amount of time selling our products.
• Penetration of new markets where the company does not have distribution. Recruitment and cultivation of high quality Rep prospects as a method of expanding our export business.
• Evaluation of Reps already established. The establishment of realistic sales quotas and methods of assisting Reps to attain the quotas.
• Conduct product training and application seminars for Reps and customers, both at the factory and in the field. The seminars will cover equipment application, new products, sales techniques, etc.
• Trips to support, evaluate and train new and existing Rep personnel.
• Ongoing search for products for which the company might obtain marketing license/ownership rights in order to expand existing product offerings.

General Responsibilities:
• Communicate with our customers and Reps to answer their technical questions.
• Interact with other departments in the organization to insure the proper handling of customer requirements.
• Travel internationally to increase our volume of business through work with Reps, trade shows, and customers.
