hela Sverige Global Customer Service is a unit within Volvo Car Corporation, responsible for the global aftermarket business, development and distribution of genuine parts, service- and repair methods and accessories. Our ambition is to be the most desired provider of parts, accessories and service to our Volvo dealers and customers and thereby contribute to creating the most exciting car experience for the customer. Our head office is located in Gothenburg with 1200 employees.
The logistics function (Parts Supply & Logistics) within Global Customer Service is responsible for the procurement, storage and distribution of spare parts and accessories to VCC's customers throughout the world. This includes operational control of all Volvo-owned parts inventory, warehouse management and transportation, as well as the long-term development of the global logistics process.
Logistic Market Operations West EMEA within Parts Supply & Logistics is responsible for distribution of spare parts and accessories from Central Distribution Center and external Distribution centres to dealers in Europe. This includes handling and coordination of logistics queries from the markets, maintaining warehouse operations, order administration and transport administration within the region.
The Regional Logistics Manager is responsible for the logistics of Global Customer Service parts and accessories from CDC (Central Distribution Centre) and LDC (Local Distribution Centre) to dealers, sales companies and importers within western EMEA. This also entails travelling within your region, approximately 30-50 days per year.
Main responsibilities:
3PL management:
* Set and follow up of KPI for the warehouse and transport operations in the region. If deviations initiate & follow up corrective actions.
* Responsible for follow up & control of the logistic operational cost (warehouse & transport) including giving input to budget and forecast
* Strive for finding continuous improvement in the supply chain
Market coordination:
* Ensure that communication, coordination and processes are followed and developed between National Sales Companies, external DC's (XDC), importers and Parts Supply & Logistics.
* Ensure that Global Customer Service perform the agreed KPI's and support according to Logistic Operational Agreement with markets in the region.
Logistics Development:
* Acting as a project leader/sub project leader in different projects within the area/region.
* Initiate development activities including logistic studies within the region
Required Qualifications:
* Master's degree within engineering or economics with logistics specialization (or likewise)
* Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience with proven leadership skills
* Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
* Solid experience from leading projects, preferably in a global context.
* Advanced skills in Excel
Meritorious:
* Experience from automotive aftermarket logistics
* Experience from working at a 3PL
* Experience from working with TMS (Transport Management System)
