Sweden/International: Regional development/Research and advisory services:
The Natural Step International is looking for an individual who has been working with sustainable development at the Local Government or regional level. The individual should have experience working with community engagement strategies, facilitation and dialogues methodologies, be familiar with application of sustainability frameworks and integrated sustainability planning. The ability to communicate and facilitate in multi-stakeholder workshops, Research, Analytical and Reporting are important skill for this position.
We would like the individual to have experience in working with cities or regions both in Sweden and international, to be fluent in Swedish and English both written and spoken, and have a social sciences background. Experience in working with international development agencies such as the EU, UN, Sida is desirable. A working knowledge of The Natural Step Framework will be an added advantage.
A significant component of this position will include research in how cities and regions are working towards sustainable development and providing advisory services to municipalities or regions on strategies to move towards sustainability.
