QlikView is the Business Discovery Solution!
The product has been developed by our R&D team in Lund since 1993. Today QlikView can adapt to everything from a single user on a single desktop, to a client server solution involving multiple servers in multiple locations, even on multiple continents.
As an R&D Release Manager you will create a roll-out plan for the product. You will work closely with Project leaders, the Change manager, the Pipeline steering group, and QlikView's Product managers.
Your responsibilities:
• Coordinate product launch activities
• Work closely with the QlikView Product Managers to plan and refine the release process
• Continuously report back to the product team about the progress of the roll out
• Communicate to the organization about the product release process
• Gather feedback from the organization on what information that needs to be provided from the release and download systems
• Build confidence in a speaking role in front of peers and teams of colleagues
• Build good relationships with the support, consulting, training, marketing and R&D teams
• Assess and improve on build quality, its success rates and performance
• Own the release process execution
• Revocation policy and revocation process
• Build number strategy for developed and released versions
• Release automation
• Develop new release types and release strategies
Your profile:
• University degree
• 3 or more years experience with relevant IT or software related project management
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and the QlikView product line
• Problem-solving, analytical, structured and result-oriented
• Ability to work well with others in an agile team and a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work independently when required
• Excellent communication, listening, presentation and writing skills
• Creative and open-minded
• Service-minded and good at taking initiatives
• Knowledge about QlikView a plus
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
