We are seeking a dynamic and experienced R&D Quality Program Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our global HVDC Technology and solution development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our innovative solutions. Your responsibilities
Lead R&D program on Quality
Continuously create backlog by cross functional inputs from R&D, manufacturing, commissioning and service division
Define specific targets, roadmap and initiatives and implement a quality strategy and set business goals for HVDC, together with R&D portfolio manager
Build communication strategy and change management to secure progress
Promote and raise awareness of technology, as well as develop capabilities and competencies at all levels of the organization, to address the impact of quality, fostering a culture of continual development
Build collaborative partnerships with multiple internal and external stakeholders such as suppliers to proactively address quality issue
Promote Hitachi energy HVDC as a high-quality brand in customers and stakeholder forums

Your background
University degree (Masters or PhD) in electrical/mechanical/manufacturing engineering or material science
Strong expertise in data analysis/statistical methods and reliability engineering, a Six Sigma black belt is a merit
R&D project/program management experience is required
Demonstrated skills for details and passion for quality
Ability to think strategically, understand the big picture and adjust communication to diverse audiences.
