Your role
Welcome to Surface Quality Management team at Business Unit Surface Sensor Solutions. We are a mixed group where everybody's opinion is valued and the differences make out the basis for our progress.
As a Quality Manager with focus on issue handling, you will be the driving force when it comes to develop applications and way of working regarding issue handling and non-conformances. You will be part of the administrative team for our PDM/MPS system as the organisations representative and the link between the IT solution and way of working. The role includes supporting the operations with improvement initiatives, as well as act as area super user and support line managers, employees and product development teams within the area of issue handling and the applications used. You will contribute in the system and infrastructure development and drive of the strategy of non-conformance and issue handling including applications used.
As a Quality Manager with focus on issue handling, you will handle a wide range of tasks within the framework of issue handling in all your assignments.
The main tasks are:
* Support the organisation in issue handling and non-conformance related issues
* Evaluate established ways of working and applications, identify areas with improvement potential, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Participate in evaluation of updates in the PDM/MPS application, and support during corrective actions
* Spread knowledge about issue handling tools and processes within the organisation
Your profile
We believe that you are highly self-motivated, structured and communicative. And you probably have a well-developed drive and integrity, as well as a coaching approach with the ability to lead others trough a change process.
To thrive in this role, you have worked with PDM/MPS systems or equivalent tools for issue handling. You have an interest in the development of software tools and their usage and linkage to product and process development. You are also used to manage small, medium sized improvement projects utilizing different tools within change management.
Required skills:
* Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or other relevant college education
* Knowledge within tools and methods related to improvement and change management
* Solid understanding and interest of system and IT infrastructure development
* Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, written and verbal
* The ability to work well with many different people and professions is a key to success
Knowledge that is beneficial:
* Knowledge of Jira's Agile features, workflows, and integrations with other development tools
* Experience in software and hardware development
* Process Management
* Experience of the Saab product portfolio
* Experience working with standards ISO 9001 and/or EN9100
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
