We are hiring a Quality Manager & Reliability Engineer for our engineering department T&SD. In this role you will champion a strong quality culture within HVDC T&SD, serving as an ambassador and advocate for quality-driven engineering practices. You will be able to utilize your engineering experience to lead continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen the collaboration between engineering and quality.
Your responsibilities:
Lead small-scale continuous improvement initiatives, CI projects, and quality investigations, utilizing your engineering background to facilitate effective problem-solving.
Support the line organization in identifying, tracking progress, and resolving top quality issues, collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
Continuously enhance quality processes and strengthen collaboration between quality departments and cross-functional teams, contributing to our collective success.
Implement robust quality and continuous improvement processes within the line organization, ensuring full compliance with HVDC Q&CI standards and practices.
Aggregate and report on quality targets, conduct analysis to identify improvement opportunities, and drive actions to address negative trends.
Identify and drive Operational Excellence (OPEX) savings projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious targets.
Govern and oversee non-conformances in the Quality Issue Tracker (QIT) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CCRP), ensuring timely resolution and maintaining quality standards.
Visualize and streamline QA/QC activities within line processes, optimizing efficiency and contributing to a seamless quality management system.

Your Background:
You have an engineering background and a genuine interest in developing within the field of quality management. Preferably you also have previous management experience, either as a line manager or as a project manager.
Previous experience of participating in improvement initiatives, preferably from an engineering environment
Familiarity with quality and continuous improvement frameworks, such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and PDCA.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for identifying trends, proposing innovative solutions, and driving progress.
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Strong project management skills to be able to lead initiatives and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken. Swedish is considered to be an advantage.
