Remanufacturing is part of Volvo Group Trucks Operation, Powertrain Production. We are responsible for Remanufacturing of Engines, Gearboxes and others remanufactured components and production of low volume based products for the Volvo Group. We have remanufacturing sites in Sweden, France, US, Brazil, India, China and Japan.
The Quality Department, in the Flen Factory, has the overall responsibility to establish product quality, ensure efficient and thorough quality processes and work with customers to establish world class quality and zero defects. Remanufacturing has a broad range of products and multiple product lines and cells throughout the factory which makes the quality responsibilities broad and varied.
Quality work in close collaboration with our customers, Environment department and our productions teams on a daily basis.
Main responsibilities:
Customer responsibility from a quality perspective for articles and products manufactured in Flen
Drive Quality Control (QC) for the Flen plant with Volvo production system (VPS) methodology
Spread QC tools and way of working through coaching and training in the Flen plant
Execute internal audits and participate in external audits
Manage and measure quality data and customers complaints
Continuously improve the quality work in plant to reach zero defects
Represent Remanufacturing Flen in QC network
Drive Quality and Environmental development in site
Interviews and selection process will take place continuously.
The position is located in Flen but with occasional travel.

Who are you?
You have a bachelor and/or master's degree in engineering or other field related to quality
At least 5 years of working experience in quality and/or environmental related area
Knowledge and experience in manufacturing of engines, hydraulics and transmission
Experience of working in a customer related role, and understanding of quality and/or environmental fieldwork and prerequisites needed
Know-how and understanding of supplier/quality-processes
Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
Fluent in Swedish & English in oral and written form
Ability to work in and handle IT systems, for instance Kola, Protus and Argus
Meriting with knowledge and experience in World Class Manufacturing and VPS, QC
Ability to lead cross-functional project teams
We are additionally looking for someone with the ability to collaborate well and drive Quality and Environmental work in a structured and analytical way. You are goal oriented, creative and have a diplomatic and consultative mindset.
