hela Sverige Gardena is currently seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer to join our team. Your passion and expertise in ensuring the highest standards of product quality will be instrumental in upholding our market leadership and delighting avid gardeners with our superior products.
Responsibilities:
The detailed responsibilities for this role include:
Collaborate with Product Management to define precise quality and customer requirements.
Establish rigorous technical specifications.
Develop comprehensive test plans, ensuring alignment with various test labs and the Quality Competence Center.
Define product tests, meticulously evaluate test results, and prescribe strategic actions based on outcomes.
Conduct thorough validation of products and production processes.
Forge close partnerships with R&D, Product Laboratory, System Test Department, and the Smart & Bluetooth team in Ulm/Zürich.
Coordinate and collaborate effectively with TechSupport for Robotic & Smart, R&D, Sourcing, Industrial Design, and Production.
This position reports directly to the Director of Quality in the Business Unit Smart/Robotics.
Requirements:
Possess a degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent.
Demonstrate several years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably within the technical consumer goods industry.
Ideally, possess a background in robotics (SystemTest, Product Lab).
Exhibit a basic understanding of software-driven products and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
Showcase experience in managing both in-house manufactured and purchased products.
Fluent proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).
Excel in an international environment with a penchant for clear and structured communication.
Demonstrate an open and creative approach in interactions with colleagues and customers.
Value a goal-oriented and proactive working style.
Display a high degree of initiative and a strong team orientation.
Exhibit a willingness to travel as needed.
