Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Quality Compliance Auditor to join our Skellefteå team.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Join our dynamic Quality Compliance team as a highly skilled and motivated Quality Compliance Auditor. Reporting to the Quality Compliance Manager, you'll lead audits, and ensure that all aspects of production and quality management adhere to regulatory standards, industry specifications, and internal quality control protocols. Your role involves maintaining and enhancing product/ process quality, safety, and compliance within the manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
Conduct VDA 6.3 process audit, VDA 6.5 product audit, TecSa audits, ISO 9001 audit and IATF 16949 audits and ensure quality control procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Perform continuous inspections to verify adherence to quality specifications and implementation of corrective actions.
Make sure timely routine testing and inspections, verifying compliance and identifying avenues for enhancement.
Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and guidelines related to manufacturing industry.
Communicate audit findings, compliance status, and forward recommendations to relevant stakeholders and communicate regulatory requirements to relevant stakeholders within the organization.
Review and maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and compliance documentation and recommend implementing best practices to enhance overall product quality and compliance.
Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure that all audit related documentation meets regulatory requirements and is readily accessible for audits.
Investigate and document instances of non-compliance and non-conformance.
Identify potential risks to product quality and compliance and work proactively to mitigate these risks and contribute to the development of risk management strategies.
Facilitate awareness and understanding of quality, environmental, and COP compliance requisites across the organization, providing essential training and guidance when necessary.
Make sure incoming quality control and supplier quality with supplier audits and engage in setting requirements.
Make sure the integration of the conformity of production (COP) process throughout the Business Unit, aligning with industry norms and customer requisites.
Play a vital role in fostering a culture of excellence in quality and environmental compliance, fostering effective collaboration and communication.

Requirements
Qualifications and experience
A relevant academic degree or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience in relation to quality auditing, compliance or similar roles, preferably within a dynamic manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience working in chemical manufacturing or a process driven industry.
Strong knowledge and/or experience in risk evaluation and investigation methodologies.

Specific skills
Proven knowledge of relevant Quality and Compliance standards, specifically VDA 6.3, 6.5, but also ISO 9001 (experience in IATF 16949 preferred).
Certifications in VDA 6.3 and 6.5.

Personal success factors
Knowledge of working towards automotive standards, sustainability standards and quality management systems
Ability to manage tasks under pressure and navigate multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive learning attitude.
