The Opportunity:
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in embedded software and a keen interest in electronic components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our embedded software products, with a particular focus on the integration and functionality of electronic components. This role requires a blend of software testing expertise and a solid understanding of electronics to effectively identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues.

Embedded Software Testing:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded software systems.
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software reliability and performance.
Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
Electronic Component Integration:
Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand the integration of electronic components within the embedded system.
Test and validate the interaction between software and electronic components to ensure seamless functionality.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to electronic components and their impact on software performance.
Quality Assurance Processes:
Develop and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Implement and adhere to QA processes and best practices to ensure consistent product quality.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers to improve code quality.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers, to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
Advocate for quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
The talent we want to inspire has...
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in quality assurance, particularly in testing embedded software systems.
Strong understanding of electronic components and their integration within embedded systems.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar.
Familiarity with embedded systems development and debugging tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
This would be a plus but not a must!
Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to embedded systems and electronic components.
