An important element in the change journey is the Purchasing Excellence program. This program is intended to raise our professional capability level by developing processes, tools, templates, training etc. as support for our purchasing employees globally. We are now recruiting a Project Manager to our team at the head-office in Gothenburg. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a talented and dedicated Purchasing professional to become part of a global and fast-paced organization!
The position
In this role you will lead and manage different types of capability projects with regards to size and complexity, with the objective to deliver the Purchasing Excellence program. Some of your key tasks include:
• Independently lead and manage projects in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and resources
• Activities related to development of the Group Purchasing function, such as working methods, tools, processes and other areas of purchasing
• Responsibility to secure that projects are driven according to the Getinge Group purchasing project model
• Getinge Group Purchasing function is currently in a phase of development and the project leader role should be seen in this context, meaning that change management is part of the role
• For the right person this role can also include managing complete sourcing projects from analysis, stakeholder management, RFI/RFQ, evaluation to negotiation and implementation
• The role is global and will include international working environment with travel and international contacts with Getinge Group entities around the world
The position will report to Senior Manager, Purchasing Development, Getinge Group.
Travel is estimated to 10-20%.
The ideal candidate
Ideally you have 2-5 years of experience from Project Management, Change Management and Purchasing in global environments. You have a relevant University degree, preferably within Technology, Finance or Economics and you have full proficiency in English. Knowledge of Swedish and additional languages would be a plus.
As a person you are a results-oriented and curious team-player with an eagerness to continue to learn and develop. Your strong interpersonal skills and integrity enable you to negotiate and influence both internal and external stakeholders and you have the patience and confidence to take lead on change processes. Furthermore, we see that you have strong analytical, planning, organizing and reporting skills and a willingness to operate within a dynamic and fast-paced organization.
