Scania Purchasing buys products and services for all of Scania's units worldwide. Our global purchasing organisation is based in Södertälje, Sweden, and has around 700 employees around the world. The Purchasing department of Strategies & Processes are responsible for developing and improving Purchasing processes and methods in accordance with the company strategies and targets in order to increase efficiency and to ensure that purchasing is adapting to the changing future market demands. We are now looking for a new team member who wants to be a part of our journey.

Your duties

Coordinate and facilitate Purchasing Decision Meetings

• Plan, prepare, coordinate, lead and follow up all decision meetings within Scania Purchasing where future strategies and suppliers are decided. This includes supporting Purchasing organisation in the process, the system used for the process as well as improving the overall process.

Develop and improve Purchasing processes and methods

• In close cooperation with internal and external functions understand and define problem scopes, develop solutions, implement improvements and follow up on changes.

Your profile
We are looking for a positive and driven person, who wants to develop within the Scania Purchasing organisation.

You are

• Service minded
• Organised and an eye for small details
• Eager to improve how things can be done
• Communicative and able to point out your opinion in front of a group
• Team oriented but able to work independently

You have

• A university degree within Engineering or Finance or experience from similar employment
• Good English skills, fluent in both spoken and written (German is a plus)
