hela Sverige We are now looking for a Project Manager responsible mainly for projects in Scandinavia.
Valmet in Gothenburg is working with deliveries of environmentally friendly heat and power boilers for technically demanding fuels as well as recovery boilers and evaporation plants to the Pulp & Paper industry.
As Project Manager you are managing environmental friendly and energy optimized projects to help our clients shape a more sustainable world.
You are working directly with our customers in the heat & power- and pulp & paper industry. A project usually last between four to twelve months with a budget between 4-20 million SEK, but the size can be both smaller and larger. You are responsible for the project budget, schedule, handling of change orders and risk management and you are involved in purchase of equipment, subcontracting.
You are managing and coordinating the internal resources for different projects and work in close cooperation with Valmet Sales managers (KAM) and the global product owners. Furthermore, you have intense contact with your engineering colleagues, but also with our purchase and site planning departments as well our workshop.
You will also have the opportunity to provide support in the sales process with resource estimation, time schedule and contractual issues. This enables you to follow the project from the very beginning to the end of the warranty period.
The work includes some travelling, mainly in Scandinavia, but also to other countries inside and outside Europe.

To be successful as Project manager we think you have a BSc or Master degree in an engineering related field and at least three years of experience in industrial project execution, preferably within the power/heat or pulp & paper industry. If you have previous experience of manufacturing and/or construction it will be great advantage in understanding the business.
As a person, you are service minded, enjoy networking and has the ability to gain a helicopter perspective in your work. You are used to work in projects and combines business acumen with finding solutions together with customer and sub supplier. In this networking role, your communications skills are essential, both in Swedish and English.
