GPQS, as part of Hitachi Energy and Grid Integration, is on the path of Digitalisation and has launched an organisational change program called idm4Vision to support the transition into Vision 2025 - a business journey to provide speed and quality by digitalisation in operational processes.
The Project Manager will create and drive projects key to digitalisation within the program- including rationalization of business process, application landscape and organisational impact. The project manager ensures delivery of project according to plan including topics for leadership, stakeholder communication and manage project changes. Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
Your responsibilities
Drive business development implemented into process, application and organization within defined project scope.
Overall responsible for end-to-end results and deliverables to prioritized business capabilities (combined change on resource, organization, process and tools) into success project results.
Execute project governance, Plan project and manager team to deliver the project successfully.
Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project, and Communicate priorities for Project scope and results.
Manage and communicate project in terms of budget, resources, timeline and issue escalation
Manage stakeholders and serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
Ensure that required business process and/or organizational changes are in place to support successful Project implementation
Practically control project incl. cost savings realization, monitor project spent and timely reports deviations to budget, create POs for timely onboarding of project external resources and monitor invoices
Your background
A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
3 years of experience in Project Management in a multinational environment and preferably in a customer phasing projects.
Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractor
Certified in Project Management (PMBOM, Prince, ICB4, IPMA, or similar)
Mastery in balancing and communicating with stakeholders (external & internal).
Experience mobilizing and motivating large horizontal teams and setting-up project management processes
Experienced leader with absolute integer behaviour
Motivated self-starter, with a keen interest in developing and implementing the best practice, creative digital solutions for next generation projects.
Experience in IT Enterprise Architecture is an advantage
Experienced Finance acumen including different tools and methods
