We are looking for a person who can take on the challenge as Product Modification Leader, PML. You will be a part of an enthusiastic group of Project Managers and with a variety of different kind of projects when it comes to customer, market, technology and timing.
Your main tasks will be to run the projects according to the customers Global Development Process - GDP.
The job will mainly consist of:
• Establish and lead cross functional teams, with members from Global Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Parts, Global Customer Support, external suppliers and other functions.
• Budget responsibility for your projects.
• Conduct project meetings, design reviews, follow up project activities in customers administrative tools.
• Present project progress.
As a project manager you are responsible for the whole project delivery in terms of time, technology, cost and quality. We are looking for a person who has the strength and skill to drive the projects from start to end on his/her own.
Qualifications:
• University degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience as project manager from the Automotive Business.
• Ability to drive: You must be able to drive your own and your project team members work forward.
• Product development skills/knowledge: You know the processes around both product development, GDP, and the customer adaptation process.
• Industrial knowledge: You know how the industrial processes work.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• You need to be an excellent presenter in steering committees and other forums.
• Certification via Project Management Professional (PMP) will be seen as very positive.
• Administrative skills: Knowledge of administrative tools within the automotive industry.
• Computer skills: Good knowledge in all basic tools (Microsoft Office etc.)
