Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Supplier Readiness Management supports the Purchasing organization by proactively monitoring and supervising suppliers, to ensure on-time completion of series tooling and deliveries of parts. We are part of a global network of Supplier Readiness teams within the Volkswagen group but supports mainly the Scania purchase organization in Södertälje.

Supplier Readiness works with external suppliers / toolmakers as well as within our own organization. Based on a structured process, we take part in cross-functional meetings including suppliers to set the basis for the tasks to monitor, track and supervise suppliers / toolmakers on a regular basis and feedback the status to Scania.

You will be responsible for structuring, organising and reporting the status of relevant projects and represent them within Scania's organisation. • Process development and improvement work
• Webmaster for SNK intranet website
• Special assignments outside of standard tasks (e.g. coordination tasks, alignment work with other areas/brands, presentations and trainings)
• Escalation of issues to senior management, if required
