As component project leader (KU) DIGITAL TUNERS you will be a part of the infotainment department. We are responsible for specifying, developing and verifying systems and components within the infotainment area. You will work with the latest technology in order to reach the future characteristics and requirements in a very exciting field. The group you will belong to, Antennas and Digital tuners is responsible for the development of different antennas (AM, FM, TMC, GPS, GSM, WLAN, LTE, SiriusXM, DAB etc.) and external tuners (Sirius/XM, DAB and TVM) as well as mechanical integration. We are now looking for an experienced KU leader who will be responsible for the development of digital tuners. You will lead a cross-functional team including HW, SW, test and system engineers. You are responsible for time, technique and cost for the specified component area and you have an important role to ensure commonality between projects. You will control and lead the supplier deliveries and implementation of specifications. Etc. You will have many contact interfaces both within Volvo Cars as well as with suppliers.
Your profile: University degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering or equal
At least 5 years' experience from Project Management within electrical and/or software projects Experience from product development
Experience in leading teams and teamwork oriented Experience in working in an international environment
High level of energy and strong verbal and writing communication skills in English Infotainment experience
Passion for quality and cars
Driving licens B
