Are you a person who like to drive the technical development? Would you like to enter an RD&I team in charge of new and innovative wood adhesives products and technical solutions?

We are now looking for a senior chemist/project leader who can strengthen the Solutions EMEA team in R&D Wood Adhesives.

What will you do?
In this position you will lead, execute, report and manage small StageGate Express (SGE) projects, lab work requests (LWR's) and complaints. You will also take part in bigger development projects as expertise from the Solutions team. You will set scope and develop project plans, business cases and execute tactical plans, in line with the R&D strategy.

Key Activities:
• Lead and take part in LWR's and SGE-projects from stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, ISC and Procurement
• Sets objectives for project team members, provides clear, open and constructive feedback.
• Act in line with Health & Safety and Compliance regulations and ensure that all standard operating procedures and risk assessments are in place for project activities.

Who we are looking for
To be successful in this position you need a technical educational background in relevant fields, such as Chemistry (preferably Master of Science), Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, Polymer chemistry, Physical chemistry, Wood and fiber technology or similar. We also see that you have 3-6 years of relevant experience within project management, working together with Integrated supply chain, procurement, marketing or sales.

As a person you need to have good communication skills and be able prepare and deliver presentations and reports for senior management across more than one function at an appropriate level of technical details. You have the ability to simplify and teach complex technical concepts and to engage with customers and other external stakeholders at appropriate levels. You have good skills in English and Swedish, both in writing and verbally.
