What we do
At Exterior Front Lighting, we are responsible for design and delivery of front lighting systems and we handle both projects as well as advanced engineering. We are part of ART Exterior System which is organized within Vehicle Tophat. ART Exterior System are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solution of Front lighting systems, Rear Lighting systems and Wiper and Washer systems. Each area covers the complete product development; mechanical, electrical, and software. We are working in an Agile environment.
What you'll do
You will be part of an engineering team that develops engineering solutions that fulfil attribute requirements and manufacturing process demands within decided cost and time frames. The work includes leading a FSS supplier in a new vehicle development as well as both having contact with other engineering departments and within the ART. You will also have close contact with design department and PQ to find the best design solutions. The work consists of Project Leading for a front lighting system, integration of the design work both HW component and SW solutions.
Main responsibilities:
• Responsibility for complete deliveries for a head lamp in a new car program
• Responsibility for deliveries regarding time planning, cost definition and tracking
• Lead and balance both HW component solutions as well as SW solutions together with Function Team and the Supplier
• Lead FSS supplier
Who you are
We believe that you have a technical education at university level or equivalent experience. Furthermore, we see that you have at least 10 years of experience in relevant areas of technology, as well as electrical and hardware knowledge related to the automotive industry. As you will be working in a global setting, we see that you are fluent in English, both verbal and written.
To thrive in this role, we see that you are a person with good leadership abilities and a positive attitude. You have a structured way of working and good documentation skills. As a person, you are self-driven, result-oriented, and flexible.
