The Finance Runway project in Finance & Accounting is focused on improving our operations and processes through a combination of automation efforts and centralization. In this role you will be responsible for driving the transition in our processes in the Finance Runway project, you will be part of the project team driving the shift towards a truly digital organization.
About the role
As Project Lead Finance & Accounting in the controlling team, you will manage and lead our transformation in our different business processes. Ensure that our new ways of working are implemented and secure operational performance in accounting. You execute and track project progress and exceptions as well as coordinate across all involved stakeholders. You will solve project risks and lead the workstream accordingly to timelines and targeted quality.
Responsibilities:
Perform research and conducting pre studies to identify reporting routines to be standardized and automated.
Engage local stakeholders in gap analysis to validate the blueprint, identify local exceptions and actions required.
Structure the way of working for an efficient and automated process together with suppliers and business experts.
Secure project handover to ensure business continuity, new routines, and standards.
Prepare, present and secure budgets and project timelines.
Operational responsible to initiate, lead, execute and follow-up project activities.
Empower and inspire the team to challenge the status quo.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we see that you have;
At least 3+ years experience from project management with larger transformation projects within multiple functions, preferably as a project lead and within finance or controlling. You provide great knowledge and ideas when it comes to digital transformation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to customize communication to different needs and stakeholders
Understand impact on processes both from accounting perspective as well as business perspective
Experience from working with automatization & digitalization of processes
Knowledge of project implementation approaches and methods
Experience of designing and developing operational processes
High skillset in how to develop and lead an organization through changes
Strong communications skills in English
