Our Exciting Opportunity
Product development unit (PDU) Packet Core develops Mobile Core Network nodes with world class, market leading functionality, crafted for efficient, reliable and secure operations. The headquarters is based at Lindholmen (Gothenburg, Sweden) but we also have development in Shanghai, Beijing and Madrid. PDU Packet Core is responsible for the development of 5G functionality PCC (Packet Core Controller) and PCG (Packet Core Gateway).
PDU Packet Core is a large organization with many programs, projects and activities, with a large budget to sustain it. We are now looking for an experienced person that can help the PDU management team to have full control of our budget and resource planning, budget and resource follow-up and budget and resource forecasts. To be successful in this role you must be very meticulous in handling the analysis and breakdown of the budget and resource planning into smaller parts, you must have an excellent understanding of budget work as such. You must be a curious self-starter, able to proactively take initiative for investigations and work independently to be able to "smell" if the content of budget follow-up may show that the organization may later come into a over- or under-spending situation. You need to be a strong driver and good with figures and Excel.
You will
Analyze the economic situation and provide management team with prognosis to be able to run a successful business
Report to the product development group (PDG) Gateway leadership team
Perform budget and resource analysis work both proactive forecast and reactive follow-up work
Continuously present a clear and understandable view of the budget and resource situation in the organization
Have a suspicious mindset to be able to give early warning in case of need for later budget alignments

We are looking for someone that:
Is self-motivated and can work independently
Has an energetic, positive "can do it" attitude
Is curious and have great skills in Excel

To be successful in the role we want you to:
Have BSc/MSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
Be proficient in English, written and spoken
Have excellent understanding of budget and resource planning
Have a strong analytical ability both with text and numbers
Dare to speak up and deliver under pressure
Be able to do visualization of "what the numbers mean"
Be aware of Lean and Agile principles
