Pulp and Performance Chemicals forms a business unit within AkzoNobel, which is the world's largest paints and coatings company and a major producer of specialty chemicals. We have an immediate opening for an individual who can fulfil the following role as Program Operations Manager. The position will be based in Gothenburg. The POM is a heavy administrative role that has the responsibility to build, develop and coordinate the activities for the Lean Six Sigma organization and their members. You keep the organization and the Business Unit (BU) up dated with all the information needed regarding the Black Belts training progress, project reporting and the overall display of our Black Belts to the rest of the BU. This is a new position in Sweden, but there is already two more PMO's in the Netherlands with whom you will have close contact with in order to pursue you mission. The main tasks and responsibilities are: - Manage the global operational support for the Lean Six Sigma program. (book training, attend meeting etc.). - Manage the entire Trainings Program (development, changes) and secure a constant high quality. Provide training program support (organize venues, training materials, etc) - Manage the project Portfolio and provide Black Belt project progress and results reporting based on the project reporting from the Black Belts. - Coordinate and support some parts of the Black Belt recruitment process together with HR. - Prepare monthly reporting on L6S program (deployment, results, project results) - Coordinate central communication activities through website, newsletter, and monitor local communications for consistency. - Coordinate with HR, BU Communications, Finance and other BU functions as required to accomplish responsibilities - Maintain a network of local representatives for local activities.
Utbildning och erfarenhet• University education on a Bachelor level with relevant work experience. - Good knowledge and understanding of project management. - Highly organized with good analytical skills. - Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. - Strong networking abilities. - Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint) - Demonstrated high performance levels and ability to multi task in fast paced environment. - Confident working with multiple cultures and countries. - Fluent in English. To be successful in this position you should be used to coordinate and execute extensive administrative tasks. You are skilled in giving presentations, building professional networks and able to effectively interact with all levels in the organisation. You have the ability to operate internal within the company as well as externally to create long and successful business relations. As a person you are positive, responsible, highly result oriented as well as service minded.
