Job description
The factory in Malmö is facing a rapid changing environment (i.e. customers, machine fleet, volume, technical and marketing projects) driving the need for expanding the factory, adding production lines and resources.

The Production Manager has 4 direct reports and is responsible for approximately 100 employees in various positions in production. You will be responsible for the departments of Production & Planning, Engineering, EHS, facilities and support the logistics and distribution on the site.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Leadership and development of the factory team
• Fiscal budget for all functional dimensions
• Volume planning, production, logistics and distribution of our products
• Strategic development of production capability
• Technical development and investments in production
• Ensure development, service and maintenance of the site and properties
• Overall responsible for EHS in the factory
• Participating in product development

Key success factors regarding people management and leadership:

• Daily coaching of the direct reports and teams
• Develop a sustainable and high-performance culture
• Provide clear direction and act as role model for the function members

You will be a member of the F & L management team and report to the Head of Operations.
Qualifications, skills & experience
The position requires a commercial attitude as well as product and market knowledge.

The prospective candidate should be one who strives for excellence whilst championing continuous change and innovation.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree from college or university, preferably with a major in engineering or in production.

A Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience within FMCG manufacturing or from a comparable industry, with a proven track record of achievements. You also have a thorough experience and understanding of supply chain management and of leading and developing leaders and teams in a high pace environment.

Previous experience from expanding factories (adding production lines and resources), change and project management, LEAN and/or Kaizen.

Fluency in speaking and writing English and Swedish.

Good interpersonal communication, collaborative and team building skills.
