As a Production engineer in the electrode area, you will participate in and drive projects, investigation and actions with the purpose to solve problems and increase efficiency in electrode manufacturing. You will be participating in the optimization of current equipment and play an important role in solving quality problems.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Overall areas of responsibility and activities
Analyse and evaluate production processes to maximise productivity of processes, machinery and workers (reducing downtime, lowering cost and ensuring safety).
Initiate and drive problem solving workshops by using methods like DoE, 5W and 8D.
Analyse process quality, cost and output performance (by using tools like SPC) in order to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and implement supporting systems and equipment to improve manufacturing reliability and output.
Support in the development and modification of process documentation (BOP, FMEA and Control Plans).
Create and modify standard operation procedures and work instructions.
Support in skill development of operators, technicians and maintenance personnel.
Participate in and drive projects for new equipment.
Requirements
Bachelor or master's degree of Science in Chemical Engineering, Battery technology or equivalent
Excellent English written and verbal skills.
Ability to understand Yield, OEE, continuous improvement work and cost reduction.
Experience in operating standardized documents and error prove methods for battery manufacturing operation.
Knowledge regarding problem solving methods and root cause analysis techniques.
Ability to learn about different cultures and work in an international environment.
Knowledge and experience with production- and document management systems (MES, PLM, Sharepoint).
Experience in process improvement / investment in new equipment / process monitoring / troubleshooting / on-site management support / participation in new projects, etc.
