You will lead the product quality process to guarantee materials and products comply with legal requirements and Acne Studios quality standards. The role includes close cooperation with development and production teams for your designated product categories and ensures smooth and thorough handover towards production quality.
The work environment at Acne Studios is fast-paced and energetic; no day is ever the same. You will be based at Acne Studios headquarters in Stockholm.
Tasks will include but are not limited to
• Responsible for seasonal risk assessments and weekly quality meetings with relevant teams
• Manage and define required quality and chemical tests during development and production process
• Confirm care instructions, compositions and information labels
• Develop and execute quality projects and implement sustainability standards on matters such as certifications and traceability
• Support distribution channels on compliance, product care, spare parts and claims
• Partner and have a good working process with material-, product- and sustainability teams
• Responsible to oversee updates in internal system PLM on all quality related matters
• Research and stay up to date on test methods, materials, care instructions, labelling and product compliance standards for our sales markets
Desired qualifications
• Academic degree in textile engineering or similar technical education
• Minimum of 5 years' work experience from a similar role, preferable from high-end brands
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, Italian is a merit
• Extensive knowledge of quality testing as well as an understanding of chemical testing
• Knowledge on Chinese GB and/or other international legal product standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills, structured and eager to take own initiatives
