hela Sverige The Trucks Multibrand team is responsible within Volvo Group Trucks Technology and the Global Product Planning function, for developing project pre-requisites for projects covering multibrand applications according to decided product plans, and build global product system roadmaps. The team is initiating product evolution securing truck business profitability, brand distinction and positioning, regulation and feature evolution. The team provide critical input to Group Trucks Technology Advanced Engineering and Research from a business perspective securing a strong Advanced Engineering and Technology Portfolio.
There is now an opportunity for you to join the Trucks Multibrand Team as Product Planning Manager, Electrical and Electronics, which is an area of growing importance and complexity as well as critical to the current and future business of the Volvo Group.
Mission:
As Product Planning Manager you take on the important challenge to secure product evolution and strategy for electrical and electronics. You will get the opportunity to initiate, lead or contribute to Product Evolution and strategic investigations.
Core Responsibilities
• Contribute to product system roadmaps and strategy for elctrical and electronics and provide as input to vehicle roadmaps, product plan, advanced engineering, technology plans and other strategic plans.
• Initiate, lead and/or contribute to Product evolution and pre studies.
• Prepare and distribute project requests to the development organization in the form of project pre-requisites, in a quality assured and timely fashion.
• Be responsible within assigned projects to clearly identify customer needs and facilitate trade-offs in order to optimize the product offering and secure future competitiveness of the products.
• Prepare, initiate and present decision material for projects, investigations and roadmaps on different levels of the organization.
• Support product system roadmaps, product plans, project portfolio and budget process within the Global Product Planning and Volvo Group network.
• Act as business keeper within allocated projects.
• Actively pursue customer input at industry conferences, trade exhibitions, truck shows, and by participating in customer clinics, market surveys etc. as needed.
• Contribute to building a solid Truck Multibrand Team, both as an active team member as well as driving and taking part in defining way of working and developing improved processes in selected areas.

Qualifications
• Extensive knowledge in the area of trucks, commercial transport business and more specifically related to cabs.
• 5 -10 years of trucking industry related experience or other relevant equivalent experience.
• MSc, MBA or equivalent.
• Suitable experience from sales, marketing or engineering of commercial vehicles or other relevant products.
• Previous international experience is a great advantage as the team works with different brands in a global context and international network.
• High proficiency in technical and business English, both in speaking and writing.
• Truck driving license is considered meritorious.
