The Operations Center unit, within Service Management & Operations, is assigned to define and lead the product and technology strategies for Operations Center and ensure reliability and availability of digital products and services across the IKEA landscape. This we are doing through our focus on the observability, monitoring, reporting and modernization of our Business Critical Flows, mix of home grown and standard products; paired with our 24/7 Operations following the Service Continuity and Major Incident Mgmt Frameworks.
We are now looking for a product owner to join us here in the Operations Center unit. As our product owner, you are the visionary and the strategist, the one who plays a key part in turning ideas into reality. Your role is to harness the power of collaboration, bringing together diverse teams to build something greater. Each day presents an opportunity to listen, to learn, and to innovate, ensuring that the product evolves in alignment with the ever-changing needs for both business and user.
You hold the blueprint of success; balancing stakeholder demands with the practicalities of development. The path may be fraught with obstacles, but your resilience and creativity drive you forward.
WHO YOU ARE:
As our product owner you play a critical role in success by bridging the gap between stakeholders and the development team(s). You also hold these key attributes and skills:
Good knowledge in defining and maturing end-2-end customer journeys/business critical (data) flows in a complex environment
Good knowledge of business processes, Business analysis and product discovery techniques, like customer development programs, persona development and qualitative/quantitative research methodology
Good understanding of the product management role in relation to other digital functions, knowing best practices in building agile and outcome-oriented ways of working
Good knowledge in how to create a successful product strategy from scratch and how to story-tell to gain buy in with a variety of key stakeholders connected to the area of responsibility
Good knowledge of data and analytics key concepts, for example qualitative versus quantitative data, statistical analysis and basics of data modelling
Good knowledge in how to define and measure success, for example how to create OKR framework, KPIs and/or SLAs (XLAs)
Good understanding of qualitative and quantitative research studies
Good knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
Good ability to identify with the customer and being able to inspire a deep customer empathy within the team
Good ability to influence, listen to and collaborate successfully with variety of stakeholders connected to the domain in a complex organisation
Good ability to work methodically as well as analyze multiple data sources and qualitative information to craft a compelling narrative that resonates with target audience
Having a data informed and outcome driven mindset
Ability to lead by example
Humble leader that is comfortable leading, directing, and empowering team members without formal management authority in a complex environment
An obsession about customer problems and needs and naturally curious in how to solve them, as well as operational stability and modernisation

Key previous experiences and proven skills:
Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in digital product development and proven track record of delivering products that add value
Experience of business process mapping/omni channel customer journeys or value stream identification
Strong team working and collaboration skills
Extensive experience in Retail Domain or similar
Experience in working in agile environments
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong demonstrated both business and technical competence for the assigned area
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set a tangible product strategy for the assigned product(s) / Business critical flows and ensure that the delivery of outcomes meets objectives and customer needs
Continually benchmark against industry standards to meet customer needs and ensure that assigned product team(s) understand and drive towards meeting them
Actively research customer needs and apply the resulting insights
Align with teams across the organisation to ensure maximum impact
Demonstrate strong product development practices in the daily interactions to enable high performing team(s)
Be open to different perspectives being heard and balanced to meet business objectives, collaborating within and outside of the team(s) to ensure togetherness and strong partnership with key stakeholders
Communicate the product strategy and vision for the product(s) to ensure the team(s) is driving the product(s) in the strategic direction
Demonstrate a data informed approach to deliver successful outcomes for customers
Define OKRs for one or several products together with the team(s) and key stakeholders to ensure team(s) are aligned and tracking towards the same goals
Guide and support one or several teams to ensure individuals and team(s) are performing to the best of their ability
Document learnings, adopting a continuous improvement approach and transferring learnings to the team(s)
