As our new Product Owner - Promotional Tools, you will be forming part of the Platform Product Management Team reporting to our Head of Platform. This is a key role for our business thus we are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a can-do attitude and curiosity for learning. You're a humble achiever that gets things done, collaborates well and demonstrates ownership. You love solving problems and being the bridge between tech and the business.
Main Responsibilities:
Product Owner (PO) - Promotional Tools is a role responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for the Promotional Tools.
The PO provides leadership for the Promotional Tools teams(s) with overall accountability of the Promotional Tools and its related services, data, performance, quality and adherence with regulatory compliance.
In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the PO develops, refines and executes a vision and strategy for the Promotional Tools that delivers value in line with company goals and values. This includes but is not limited to:
Driving and utilising data, market and competitor analysis to create a roadmap strategy for the Promotional Tools, with the aim of maximising the entertainment value and asserting Play'n GO as a top provider in the entertainment industry
Collaborating with Leaders in the Platform department to align on suitable strategies and objectives for the Promotional Tools, that will create value in line with the overall department vision and company goals.
Represent the product at external events and assist in product demos.
Reviews, Plans and prioritizes product feature & technical backlog.
Facilitates Agile activities such as Planning, Demos, Refinement and Retrospectives.
Ensure planned product changes are aligned with relevant stakeholders like Information Security, Regulatory/Technical Compliance.
Cultivate an excellent working relationship with the development teams. Building on the company values and by being a champion and advocate for Promotional Tools.
Provide updates to the Head of Platform, accurately reporting on progress made in the areas or responsibility and any challenges encountered.
Collaborates with the other product owners towards shared goals and deliverables
Ensures proper release planning with our Release Manager and quick incident response with our Incident Manager
Ensures all product documentation (whitepapers, manuals, technical documentation, training material and release notes) is well prepared and kept up to date.
Defines and measures appropriate KPI's for the product area and driving continuous improvements.
Requirements:
An passionate individual with effective verbal and written communication skills coupled with a technical background and an understanding of software development.
Strategic and collaborative mindset.
Have a minimum 3 years of experience in product ownership/management and business analysis related to the Gaming business.
Engineering / Computer Science degree or similar
Structured, organised and creative individual, capable of working out of own initiative
Experience working with distributed and diverse teams
Experience leading agile delivery teams and working with Agile Delivery Tools like JIRA and other similar tools.
Preferences:
Experience with promotional tools in the gaming entertainment industry.
Gaming Sector experience.
Agile experience.
Worked with OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
Previous customer facing experience in a B2B environment
Product management related certifications
