Westermo is looking for a Product Office Manager to Västerås
In this role you will work both as a manager for the Product Office and as a product manager with a responsibility for a portfolio of products. As a manager you are responsible for a team that consists of four product managers and one technical product manager. As product manager you will work with products within the area of remote access (such as 3G/4G router, as well as ADSL/VDSL routers). This part of the job includes launching and promoting products in the best way to maintain strong brand equity and drive sales through our market channels.
You will have a lot of internal and external contacts and be an important part of Westermo's continuing growth. The role includes travelling to our market channels and product partners.
The Westermo offer fits really well for our customers' demands in the area of Industrial Internet of Things. In addition to physical products, Westermo also offers for example secure VPN connections as a cloud service.
Qualifications and personal skills
We would like you to have previous experience in a managerial position and a good understanding of products and market channels. You have a broad experience of industrial products and at least 3-5 years experience in product management from a relevant industry. You have a proven track record in ability to generate business and experience from working with technical product specifications and technical product development. You have excellent communication skills in Swedish as well as English and experience from a commercial role.
In this role, it is important that you possess a high level of energy and the ability to energize others as well as excellent presentation and negotiation skills. As a person, you must be creative, flexible and structured with a positive and winning attitude. Westermo is a dynamic company in a fast moving industry.
