Join our team
As Global Product Manager Surface Exploration at Surface division (SRD) you will be responsible for our Surface Exploration products which consists of RC and Surface coring product lines. As Product Manager for this product line, you will safeguard that we have the right offering for our customer base and with that remain market leaders going forward.
Your mission
Create the Surface Exploration product portfolio for the future while maintaining and improving the current product base to secure competitiveness. Provide Customer Centers and RBMs with product expertise and marketing tools for the product range. Drive the agreed strategy for the product range and take ownership for new and current products.
In this role you will monitor key industry trends and conduct market surveys. Interpret and Summarize information about present and future customer needs.
Collect and maintain updated competitor information together with relevant sales argument, create a long-term product development roadmap to meet the demand of the future and
maintain current product portfolio and improve function, quality and cost based on market needs.
You will also generate specifications and business cases for product development projects/product updates and have the responsibility for product pricing and product cost analysis & development.
Safeguard first in class Total Cost of Ownership and a sustainable environmental focus for the product range and support communications department with value-based sales arguments, technical data, features and benefits.
You will provide product and application support that educate the global sales force on key selling features and benefits. Initiate and drive product launches and sales campaigns and be an active member/sub project leader of product development project teams and assume project leadership for pre-studies and minor projects.
Your profile
For this position we believe you have a university degree in relevant fields such as Engineering, Mining, Business or similar competence developed through working experience. You have 5+ years of experience working within similar business, preferably within Marketing, Engineering or Sales Organizations.
You have strong skills within product marketing such as roadmap design, making product specs and executing launches. Fluent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required.
To enjoy working in this position you have great interpersonal and communication skills. You have a good understanding for marketing, customer need and its competitive landscape and dynamics.
On the personal side you are result oriented, structured and self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and manage your time and schedule. It is also important to be able to be result oriented and creative even under pressure. Since we work in a global company multi-cultural respect and understanding is also very important.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro (Eyra) , Sweden. Travel is required and can during some periods be extensive.
