Samsung is now looking for a Product Manager to our Display Team. This is a temporary position due to a parental leave. The assignment will be starting in March 2015 and ends approximately 2016-09-30. In this role you will be responsible for the hospitality segment working with launching, pricing and promoting the products in the best way in order to maintain strong brand equity and maximize short and long term sales revenue and profits. The position is based at the Nordic headquarters in Kista.
You will be working with:
• Developing and maintaining business- and marketing plans for the relevant product groups
• Designing and rolling out proper launch plans for the new models
• Ensuring product launch components are planned and followed-up
• Product training for sales staff
• Creating mid-term and short-term product specific strategies, identifying target groups and channels
• Developing and driving the pricing strategy for the models within the product groups
• Supporting the local channel marketing/sales team with presentations and training materials
• Keeping an updated benchmark of competitors products and keeping updated on marketing trends within relevant product groups
• Being the product spokesperson on a Nordic level
Suitable background:
• Experience in Product Management or Sales from a relevant industry
• Academic background is an advantage, preferably with a marketing degree
• A good understanding of products and channels in this field
• Proven track record in ability to generate business
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish as well as English
